Community Dividend Program
Helping To Support Our Community
In 1996, Williamstown Savings Bank established the Community Dividend Program to help support organizations in the communities we serve. The Community Dividend Program is the first of its kind in Western Massachusetts and, since its inception, we have donated more than $1,000,000 to charitable organizations and community development efforts in northern Berkshire County and southern Vermont.
Each year, Williamstown Savings Bank pledges 10% of its annual net income to help qualified organizations, and our customers cast ballots in the bank lobby and online. These votes result in a direct allocation to the organizations that customers choose.
